There is some mystique involved in peaberry beans. The bean, rather than having two halves like other beans, is one round bean--looking much like a pea-- hence the name, peaberry. Some believe that this bean has more flavor because the flavor isn't "torn in two". You can decide that, but you will find this coffee to have a complex flavor profile with lemon, pear and grape and a dry finish similar to a Kenya, but with just a little kick to let you know it's from Tanzania.
